Notre Mission
Orano, a world leader in the nuclear fuel cycle, has partnered with XTC New Energy, a Chinese industrial company specialising in cathode materials for batteries, to build an industrial platform integrating three functions of the battery materials lifecycle: a plant for extracting valuable materials from used batteries (UHM), a plant for recovering precursors of recycled Cathode Active Materials (pCAM) and a plant for producing Cathode Active Materials (CAM), managed through the joint venture Neomat CAM.
The Ingerop teams provide their expertise in sizing for the overall integration of the CAM industrial process and manage the project execution for all installations within the CAM area, the site entrance and support facilities for the three entities of the industrial platform.
The design and construction supervision consortium’s missions began at the preliminary design (APS) stage and will continue through 2025 up to the contractor tender phase, covering all disciplines including structural engineering, MEP, fire protection, physical security and water treatment processes.
