Ingerop, a major player in energy project engineering

Ingerop Group’s number one strategic priority is the environment. We contribute to the fight against climate change by pursuing three major objectives:

  • to generate electricity from low-carbon sources and meet the growing demand for renewable energies and nuclear power.
  • to provide technical solutions for the decarbonisation of the industrial, commercial and transportation sectors.
  • to optimise energy use and management through e.g. smart grids, heating/cooling networks, energy storage solutions and waste energy recovery.

Hydrogen and decarbonisation

Ingerop is prioritising the transition to sustainable energies in everything we do. Our goal is to replace carbon-based energies, reduce CO2 emissions and promote energy independence.

Ingerop sees hydrogen as a way to decarbonise many sectors of the economy, specifically the industry and transport sectors. Hydrogen is helping to improve the efficiency of renewable energies through the development of energy storage solutions.

For nearly a decade, we have been providing innovative solutions in the hydrogen market thanks to our multidisciplinary approach and our hydrogen infrastructure-sizing software (Pos’Hy).

We cover the entire decarbonisation value chain, offering consultancy, concept and detailed design, construction supervision, project management and turnkey services.

“Driven by the conviction that hydrogen is one of the essential levers for the decarbonisation of industry and transport, I work within Ingerop’s multidisciplinary teams on industrial and mobility projects. This multidisciplinary approach allows us to develop expertise not only in green hydrogen’s production process but also in the related environmental, regulatory and safety aspects. These assignments are both stimulating and rewarding because they directly contribute to a more environmentally-conscious energy future.”

PV solar power
Ingerop supports the development of renewable energy production infrastructures, particularly those using solar energy.

We support our client’s solar power development projects, backed by our strong technical engineering skills. Production potential studies, technical design for solar PV systems, contracting and financing package negotiation are just a few of the ways how we put our expertise to work on behalf of our clients.

This diverse service capability enables us to develop projects that deploy solar power generation equipment as well as providing design & build services for solar equipment manufacturing plants.

“I’ve been assisting with the development of Ingerop’s solar PV business for several years now. This experience has expanded my knowledge in this field and enabled me to take on new technical challenges. Ingerop vigorously supports solar power development and continues to build a sustainable world where renewable energy continues to grow.”
Aurélien Nibau Service Lead – Manufacturing & Safety
Energy-from-waste
Ingerop supports major energy-from-waste recovery companies in their projects. In this sector, our supportive approach enables us to contribute to design and construction supervision projects for new facilities and to redevelop existing facilities.

Our strategic development prioritises responsibility towards the environmental issues at stake in energy-from-waste and recognises the positive contribution it can make. Waste recovery and reuse is a key area of development for our Group, whether it is energy recovery to generate heat or electricity, or material recovery in the form of methane.

Ingerop knows how to respond best to client needs and is a driving force behind the development of related services in this fast-growing sector.

“Ingerop’s broad range of in-house skills enables us to participate in major waste recovery projects. Thanks to the Group’s expertise in functional organisation, buildings, civil engineering and port handling, we help transport a large proportion of waste by riverboat from the Greater Paris area to energy-from-waste plants. When designing these waste reception sites, our expertise in environmental and reuse issues helped us implement a circular operational approach, using reclaimed materials recovered directly on site.”

Nuclear Power

With over 50 years of energy experience, Ingerop has a long history of supporting major industrial clients with the development of their projects, particularly in the nuclear power sector.

In this field, the Group has been growing its market share for over 15 years, designing projects of exceptional size and complexity. Our core values – freedom, innovation and excellence – have given us a growing responsibility to always aim further, look higher and work harder.

In the nuclear power sector, Ingerop has completed over 100 projects in five countries, managed CAPEX of over € 20M, generated sales of € 20M annually and last but not least maintained a staff of 300 skilled professionals and experts who share a passion for the wonders of human ingenuity.

“For twelve years now, I’ve been working on the development of nuclear power in the Energy division at Ingerop. It is an enriching experience, made up of encounters, challenges and the kind of questions that push us to surpass ourselves. Energy demands are growing, and tomorrow’s world is uncertain, but one thing’s for sure: the Group will be there to meet all these challenges. “

“[Ingerop’s] Energy division is responding to the fundamental challenges that will shape our shared future. In terms of ecology, our number one priority must be energy sobriety coupled with the decarbonisation of all our business sectors. The replacement of fossil fuels will nevertheless lead to an increase in electricity consumption. Ingerop is expanding in renewable energies and energy management and consolidating its position in all aspects of the nuclear industry from power generation to research and waste management.”
