Type of services
The transmission system operator 50Hertz is currently working with the Danish transmission system operator Energinet to implement the Bornholm Energy Island (BEI) project. Electricity generated by offshore wind farms off the coast of Bornholm will be supplied to the German grid. The system will have a capacity of 3 GW, with 2 GW allocated to the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern region.
The team from Ingerop Deutschland is supporting this project by providing expertise in designing a 2 GW converter station:
Project management
Drafting of the functional specifications
Architectural and structural design, overall planning, mechanical, electrical and
plumbing engineering, coordination and scheduling, consultancy (including sustainability and certification from the German Sustainable Building Council –
DGNB), building physics and BIM
Design studies
Submission of the building permit application.
