Toronto-Canada Type of services
The Ontario Line is a project for a new automatic subway line, about 13 km long, to serve densely populated areas, as part of an ambitious program to modernize and electrify public transport.
Our mission
As part of this project, Ingerop was called upon by the OTG Ontario Transit Group (FERROVIAL -JANIN – VINCI) during the design-build tender phase to provide a critical review and expert opinion on the electromagnetic studies, including tunnel ventilation, HVAC, electrical power, as well as the interface with the Rolling Stock, Systems, Operations and Maintenance (MRSEM) package.
In addition, Ingerop was retained by Asltom Canada to prepare their bid (with John Laing and FCC) for the catenary component. The mission included :
- setting up a design reference framework, taking into account local regulations and Alstom’s scope of supply
- managing the catenary studies carried out by Alstom’s back-office teams in StOuen
- costing of the project
