Voltix, a subsidiary of the VINCI Group, is developing its own network of charging stations for electric heavy goods vehicles (HGV). The company plans to deploy around fifty stations on priority routes and in major logistics hubs by 2028. These hubs will be equipped with megawatt fast-charging systems (MCS), which are charging stations with a capacity ranging from 350 kW to 1 MW.
They will also have a photovoltaic canopy and an access control system with number plate recognition.
The teams from Ingerop are responsible for project management of the design of an initial charging station located in the Vienne department, including civil engineering, structural engineering, external works, electrical engineering and environmental aspects.
An active environmental approach is being pursued to meet regulatory requirements and the VINCI Group’s environmental objectives for 2030.
