The ÉTAMINE consortium wins two major contracts as part of the Extramobile programme for the European Metropolis of Lille

The European Metropolis of Lille has awarded the Étamine consortium, comprising SYSTRA, Ingérop, Transitec, Gautier+Conquet puma, Richez_Associés and Lavigne & Chéron, the project management of the new tramway for the Lille metropolitan area and its suburbs, as well as the Lille–Villeneuve d’Ascq Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) line.

A tramway and BRT line serving 290,000 residents

The Extramobile programme, which aims to transform mobility in the European Metropolis of Lille (MEL) by 2035, consists of new, high-performance structural lines designed to improve accessibility and encourage a modal shift towards public transport.

The Étamine consortium has won two project management contracts for this programme:

  • The Lille metropolitan area tramway and its surrounding area, awarded to the ÉTAMINE consortium, comprising SYSTRA (lead contractor), Ingérop, Transitec, and the architectural firms Gautier+Conquet puma, Richez_Associés and Lavigne & Chéron;
  • The Lille – Villeneuve d’Ascq BRT, awarded to the ÉTAMINE consortium, comprising SYSTRA, Ingérop (lead contractor), Transitec, and the architectural firms Gautier+Conquet puma and Richez_Associés.
