The Ring des Ulis is one of the largest road junctions in the Essonne region. Notably, it provides access to the Courtaboeuf business park, which is one of the main economic hubs in the Île-de-France region.
The existing junction has been completely redeveloped to improve access to the business park, enhance user safety, and optimise traffic flow between the various lanes. To this end, new infrastructure has been created for the interchange with the RN118, thereby reserving the Ring for local traffic.
This involved constructing a new engineering structure to cross the RN118, as well as creating five slip roads and removing the old ones, all while maintaining traffic on the existing infrastructure.
