Methane plasmalysis process

Spark Cleantech is a start-up founded by the CNRS and CentraleSupélec that is developing a methane plasmalysis process.
This process will enable the production of low-carbon hydrogen from cost-effective, locally sourced natural gas, while recovering clean solid carbon. This approach will facilitate large-scale decarbonisation of the industry without putting additional strain on the electricity grid.
Ingerop is supporting Spark Cleantech in the design of the pilot plant by providing project management assistance services.
Preliminary design studies:

• design of the process flow diagramme, selection of equipment technologies, 2D/3D drawings
• pre-consultations with process equipment suppliers: drafting of process datasheets, consultation and evaluation of tenders, technical and commercial recommendations, comparison of
  capital expenditure(s)
• recommendations on the equipment operating ranges.
• ATEX compliance support, risk analysis.
