Lyon North urban area rail bypass

With the CFAL Nord project, Ingerop is strengthening its partnership with SNCF Réseau to decongest the Lyon rail hub and boost freight services along a strategic French and European corridor. The project links Lyon-Ambérieu and Lyon-Grenoble, with an extension
towards the Rhône Valley. Phase 1 of this mixed-use infrastructure, which is primarily dedicated to freight, comprises 28 kilometres of new double-track 25 kV line (V220/V120), a substation, a tunnel, a viaduct over the Rhône and the Jonage Canal, and around 30 railroad bridges.
As part of a consortium, Ingerop is participating in project management and carrying out studies for the Grenay tunnel, road bridges and reinstatement works, as well as geotechnical, catenary, and environmental studies. Ingerop is also responsible for managing the network concessionaires and preparing the environmental authorisation dossier.
