The Koruseo consortium led by Egis with Ingerop as partner has been awarded the design and works supervision of the civil engineering structures of the Eastern section of line 15 of the Grand Paris Express, a 23 km underground metro line. Ingerop is already part of a consortium on line 17, a 24 km of metro section and is leader of the consortium for line 18, the 35 km long metro line planned to open in phases between 2023 and 2030 which will connect Orly airport to Versailles station. Ingerop thus confirms its strong technical involvement in one of the biggest urban development in the world with 200 km of metro line and 56 stations. Already in charge of the draw up of the overall technical report for all the lines back in 2012, being awarded the contracts of design, management and supervision of the construction of a subsection within Line 15 Southern Section and having completed the preliminary studies of Line 15 Eastern Section, Ingerop is a key player on this 15-year long mega project. Our expertise allows for global engineering services in metro projects, ie from feasibility and traffic studies to detailed design including complete tunnelling and underground stations design capacities.
This edition of Ingerop International Newsletter will focus on 2 other metro lines currently under operation or construction abroad, namely Line 1 of Lima metro and Sydney metro.

Rendel’s bridges team, led by Sam Khan has been appointed by the Principal Contractor, Impregilo-Salini JV [ISJV], on the Sydney Metro project to provide construction stage technical assistance. The technical assistance will primarily focus on the Windsor Road cable-stayed bridge but will also extend to the 4.5km long segmental viaduct.
