
The main subject of this current 8th issue is Africa where INGEROP has been particularly successful in 2015. The group is active in Africa since the 70s and decided to invest in a company in South Africa as early as 1995. As part of our strategic plan of development INGEROP 2020, we are increasing our investment in the continent and strengthening our position particularly in South Africa through the acquisition of ICE Tygerberg in Cape Town (see first article below). Several ongoing contracts in Senegal, Gabon, Ivory Coast and Cameroon will soon entail the creation of a second hub for Western Africa in 2016.



Present in South Africa since 1995, INGEROP has developed a strong local footprint in the country and especially in the Cape Province.

INGEROP South Africa (ISA)’s expertise in dam inspection and rehabilitation made them win the open tender and ISA were appointed as the Consulting Engineers for the design and the supervision of the works.

In May 2015, INGEROP, as leader of a consortium, was awarded by the European Union on behalf of the Government of Kenya, the feasibility study and detailed design of the Bus Rapid Transit system in terms of technical, economic, environmental, social, legal, institutional and operational issues on two corridors.

In order to upgrade its urban mobility policy, the Senegalese Government created the Executive Council of Urban Transport in Dakar (CETUD) in 1997. The aim of the CETUD is to support the development of public urban transport and the safety of pedestrian movements.
