On March 13, 2025, Rail Baltic Estonia O\u00dc, the company in charge by the state-owned, to manage the construction and development of Rail Baltica in Estonia, announced two alliance groups as the winners of the largest public procurement in Estonia\u2019s history – tasked with building the railway line running through the country.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Rail Baltica is a high-speed rail project partially funded by the European Union, involving Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and Finland via a maritime connection. The project aims to connect the Baltic countries with Central and Western Europe.<\/p>\n

Ingerop is part of the alliance responsible for the full design and build of the mainline from P\u00e4rnu to the Latvian border in Ikla, spanning 58.08 km. The consortium also includes the construction companies Bouygues Travaux Publics (France), Budimex SA (Poland) and KMG Infra O\u00dc (Estonia), as well as the engineering firm WSP Finland Oy (Finland). The total contract value is estimated at \u20ac332 million, with options bringing the potential total to approximately \u20ac392 million.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
