Térénez (29)Following the commissioning of the new Térénez bridge in 2011, the General Council of Finistère decided to deconstruct the old suspended bridge that remained closed to traffic due to bad condition.
The works began in January 2014 and were planned for the period of one year and carried under a strict technical and environmental supervision as the site is classified as Natura 2000.
The bridge was 430 meters long and consisted of 15.000 tons of reinforced concrete, 600 tons of structural steel, 400 tons of supporting and suspension cables, 830 tons of stone and brickwork.
The task of providing assistance to the project management, entrusted to Ingerop concerns the feasibility studies for the deconstruction of the structure and related developments, the production of the DCE works and the technical analysis of the offers, control of the deconstruction studies and the procedures, technical assistance during the project follow-up phase.
