Viaur (12)The Viaur Bridge is one of the three major structures of the late 19th century metal constructions with the Eiffel Tower and the Garabit Viaduct.
Designed by Paul BODIN, engineer of the Batignolles Construction Company, it was completed in 1902 after seven years of works.
It allows trains on the Toulouse-Rodez line to cross the valley of Viaur with a length of 412 meters at an altitude of 116 meters above the river. The structure consists of two spans forming an arch of 220 meters, connected to the rear abutments by two spans.
