Gray (70)The operation consists of rebuilding the needle dam of Apremont on the Saône in Haute-Saône department near Gray.
Built in 1860 and modernized between1982 and 1984, the Apremont dam is a reservoir for supplying a navigable waterway whose entrance is approximately 200m upstream of the dam.
This dam consists of a fixed part of 55m length (weir) and a movable part (needle barrier) of 51m length with 4 passes of 12m. A hydroelectric plant is located on the right bank.
