The Bordeaux- Euratlantic National Interest Operation is linked to the railway project which will transform Bordeaux into a hub of South-West Europe, with the new lines LGV Paris / Bordeaux (2h10), Bordeaux / Toulouse (1h) and Bordeaux / Bilbao ).

The objective is the definition and implementation of an urban project participating in the European positioning of the Bordeaux metropolis.

The "Garonne Eiffel" project corresponds to the Euratlantic territory on the right bank of the Garonne. It covers 126 hectares of which 100 are mutable, with 2 km of front of Garonne.

The operation is characterized by the presence of important infrastructures (railways Bordeaux / Paris) and the flood risk on the majority of the 126 hectares.

The plan includes the construction of 870.000 m² of SHON, including 150.000 m² of offices and 600.000 m² of housing.
