Ingérop integrates Smart2 into its Spanish subsidiary T3
Ingérop has just acquired Smart2, a Madrid-based company. Specialised in systems for transport infrastructure, Smart2 provides services ranging from project management and design to commissioning, in Spain and Latin America.

Thanks to the new technical resources provided by Smart2, this acquisition strengthens Ingérop's expertise in transport systems and reinforces its local presence. The group will also benefit from Smart2's very good presence in various international transport hubs.

Created in 2010 in Madrid (Spain), Smart2 provides high added value services in transport systems (metros, tramways, railways): energy and catenary, signalling, rail telecommunications, FDM studies, operation, maintenance and depots, alignment and track, safety and installation of technical equipment in tunnels. The company has many references in Latin America (Panama metro, Cochabamba metro in Bolivia, La Serena-Coquimbo tramway in Chile) as well as in Spain with the Madrid metro.

The entire Smart2 team joins the Spanish subsidiary Ingérop T3, which has been present in Spain for more than 15 years and in Chile since 2013. Ingérop's experts have been involved in the project management and design of major urban transport and rail projects, such as the Barcelona, Zaragoza and Granada tramways in Spain, but also Line 3 of the Lima metro in Peru or the Medellín tramway in Colombia. They are currently actively involved in the Montreal Automatic Metro (REM) in Canada and Liège Tramway in Belgium.
