Arcora and the General Bank of Luxemburg
Located in the Kirchberg business district in Luxemburg, these new headquarters of the General Bank of Luxembourg BNP-BGL designed by M3 Architects, are the new eastern gateway for the city of Luxemburg. The project includes 2 different office development buildings, one with 6 floors and a tower with 14 floors (total area of 52.000 m²).

ARCORA was appointed by BNP Paribas Real Estate to carry out the full design and construction supervision of the facades and general envelope of the building.

Particular attention has been given to eco-friendly technologies including minimal consumption of energy and natural resources. The project has already been awarded an "Exceptional HEQ" certificate during the implementation phase.

To achieve this level of HEQ standards, ARCORA used the technology of a largely ventilated double skin facade allowing the integration of solar control louvers in the air blade. The triple glazing used for the inner facades also enables to achieve particularly high levels of thermal and acoustic insulation.

The architectural white concrete elements between carpentry, balconies and skyboxes shape the aesthetic of the facade designed by the architect.

ARCORA is the subsidiary of INGEROP specialized in steel structures, facades, roof lights and complex structures. Thanks to the multidisciplinary expertise in envelopes and structures, Arcora has become a unique partner to architects and a key player to optimize the energy performance of buildings according to a global energy strategy.
