Regional Center for the Fight Against Cancer, the Institut Bergonié, decided to build the New Surgical Center on an abandoned site along the course of Argonne. It is a continuation of the consultation building (NBC) carried out in 2005.

Built in R + 5 under ground, it is connected with the existing radiotherapy underground building and with a gallery on the level that also allows connection with the "Direction / administration" building.

The surgical center includes a 9-room operating theater, a post-intervention surveillance service (SSPI), a continuing care unit (USC), an ambulatory unit (UCA), 45 hospital rooms, 5 consultation posts, radiotherapy service (underground) and the lobby of the institute with the admission posts.

Within the Design / realization Group, INGEROP is responsible for all the technical and biomedical batches.
