Heat networks - Urban Community of Bordeaux

In addition to the Covenant of Mayors in February 2009, the Urban Community of Bordeaux (CUB) undertook to exceed the requirements of the European Commission's climate and energy package, notably to reduce its GHG emissions from 25 to 30% Greenhouse gases by 2020, and then by 75% by 2050.

Energy is one of the main issues identified by the CUB. Taking this concern into account resulted in the adoption of the community climate plan on 11 February 2011.

Our mission is to assist the CUB in the definition of a strategy to be implemented to develop the heat networks and in particular, to make proposals to extend the competence to the CUB Council.
