By 2030, the Gare de Lyon Part Dieu station will be the object of a complete reorganization aimed at dismantling the station and creating a quadrilateral railway.

This project includes:

  • the demolition of the B0 place Beraudier building, including removal of the clock, construction of railway protection between the existing demolished building and the AB quai;
  • the construction of a new Béraudier hall, the heart of the new Lyon Part Dieu PEM, the showcase of a new open station facilitating exchanges between the future bus station and the new Place Béraudier;
  • the construction of 3 peripheral galleries (Beraudier, Pompidou and Vilette) creating a new exchange area, shops and access to the station either from the Pompidou halls or the Vilette hall;
  • gallery extensions under ground level.
