Engineering design and construction supervision of the floating dock upgrading of the major operating base of Ile Longue (located in the Crozon peninsula, in the Finistère region – Western part of Brittany).

The major port of the Ile Longue has 7 floating docks located on 4 berths which enable the submarines to dock (SNLE, SNA…) and the requested rights of way (electricity and fluids, especially cool water).

The works, consisting in replacing 6 floating docks and refit one, will not only have to last 50 years but the operating conditions will have to be improved, in particular concerning the technical supply of the rights of way.

Characteristics :

  • Upgrading of the floating docks for the submarines’ docking
  • Floating Structures in reinforced and prestressed concrete Intégrations de réseaux fluides et électricité
  • Nuclear safety constraints
  • Important operating constraints for the actual works
