Lyon (69) - FranceIngerop acts as a partner of Aéroports de Lyon contracting authority. The future terminal will allow the airport to increase its capacity to receive up to15 million passengers in 2020. This project will contribute to the economic development of Lyon, which aims to become the second airport in France.
The project consists of the construction of a new terminal at the Lyon Saint-Exupéry airport site: the Future Terminal 1.
The building, with a surface area of 70,000 m², comprises three main levels and two half-levels
- Basement: sorting luggage
- Entresol: logistics area
- Ground floor: luggage registration / delivery
- Level 1: PIF / commercial area / boarding lounges
- Level 2: boarding lounges and landing lanes
The main building is connected to the existing Terminal 1 by a two-level connecting building where we find luggage delivery and check-in functions.
The project also includes:
- The layout of the forecourt in front of the Future T1
- The creation of a ramp to access the existing lane in front of the existing Terminal 1
- The creation of an airway between the Future Terminal 1 and existing Terminal 1
Specificities :
The building is designed with modular areas (inversion of Schengen and non Schengen flows possible).
One of the peculiarities of this project is the creation of a commercial zone at level 2, whose surface represents approximately 10 000 m².
This new terminal is also the subject of an environmental approach for HQE certification.
