Rendel is part of a consortium which has been successfully appointed on the EBRD-funded, IPPF-PPP 3 Year Framework (PPP Window). Rendel is in the Mazars LLP (UK) consortium along with other partners.
The Mazars consortium was shortlisted for the PPP framework along with three other consortia – led by Castalia, KPMG and PWC.
The framework was set up with contractual structures to foster private sector investments and will be focused on all EBRD-funded countries, particularly those where PPP markets are developing (e.g. Kazakhstan, Turkey, Egypt, Central and South-Eastern Europe).
The PPP projects will cover all sectors across Transport and Municipal Infrastructure. The projects in the pipeline are related to the trunk roads and transport logistic systems, water & wastewater and hospitals located in Eastern Europe and North Africa.
The first Call Off Assignment of the framework has been awarded to our consortium and involves the construction of a dry point in West Cairo. It is aimed at designing transport infrastructure to reduce the amount of road freight traffic to and from Cairo port.
