As part of a joint venture with Padeco Co Ltd (Japan and other local and Japanese partners, Rendel is providing consulting services for governance and infrastructure improvement under the City Governance Project (CGP), which is funded by the Japanese aid agency, JICA.

The objective of the CGP is to improve urban infrastructure, relieve traffic congestion, improve public services and promote economic opportunities in the target five City Corporations. These include urban high level interchanges, for example.
