New French Embassy Building in Libreville

The French Ministry for Foreign Affairs has decided to assign 6 million euros to build a new embassy in Libreville (capital city of Gabon).

INGEROP, as part of the consortium including in particular Fabienne Bulle Architecte & Associates and Archipro International, , has been awarded the complete project management together with the corresponding certification process according to the Cerway label (International HQE).

The departments and corresponding staff of the French Embassy in Gabon are currently located in several offices in Libreville.

The construction project will gather these departments on one site, thus aiming at fostering synergies, promoting the environmental approach in line with « Green Gabon » (national improvement policy in sustainability) and representing France and its involvement with the host country, Gabon.

The landsite on which the embassy is to be built is the current residence of the Ambassador and is not only remarkably located but has an important land surface. The new state-of-the-art building will be designed to suit the outstanding natural heritage of the site: an 8.800 sqm wooded park perched on the banks of the Gabon estuary.
