The Paris-Saclay Institute of Neuroscience is located in the immediate vicinity of Neurospin to form in the CEA campus in Saclay, the largest neuroscience complex of the region of Paris (NeuroSaclay). This new building is to bring together teams of international reputation and the technological means, necessary to tackle major challenges of brain studies and diseases.

The "Neurosciences Paris-Saclay" Institute will enable gathering the research teams, mainly from the existing teams of the CNRS, the Paris-Sud University and newly recruited international teams.

With an area of approximately 19.000 m² (Total area), the project includes:

• Research laboratories

  • A terrestrial animals housing facility (rodents, birds, carnivores)
  • An aquatic animals housing facility
