8th of MARCH - INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY
With 31.5% of the workforce at Ingerop in France, the presence of women has increased since 2010 (+1.4 points).

"Women in a changing world of work: a 50/50 planet by 2030" is the theme for 2017 of this international day.

 

WOMEN & ENGINEERING - WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

 

According to the IESF survey (Engineers and Scientists of France) 2015, women engineers of all combined specializations, represents 22% of engineers under age of 65.

 

According to the socio-demographic study carried out by OPIIEC in September 2014, the rate of feminization in enterprises with more than 250 employees reached 30%.

In the same year, agreement of Syntec branch related to professional equality between women and men has been signed by all the social partners.

Since 1968, the presence of women in engineering schools has been steadily increasing. In 2013 and 2014, there were 28% of women engineers graduates against 6% in 1973. Women engineers specialize mainly in life sciences / agronomy (21%), communication science and technology (15%), chemistry (13%) and only 15% of female students go to general engineering schools.

 

Within Ingerop in France, the presence of women has increased since 2010 (+1.4 points) and represents 31.5% of the workforce in 2015.
Within the Ingerop Group: 518 women, ie 30% of the workforce.

 

For as long as equality between men and women will not be reached, we will need to celebrate it.
